Colorado Springs BikeRail™ Project

In a major step forward for protected streetscape infrastructure in the U.S., Dero and DezignLine® unveiled the completed BikeRail™ and PedRail™ project in Colorado Springs, CO. Featuring over 1,300 feet of BikeRail protected bike lanes and 90 feet of PedRail curb extensions, the installation along Pikes Peak Avenue marks a huge improvement in bicycling and pedestrian safety in the city’s downtown. The yellow, powder coated steel PedRails warn cars of the parking lane adjacent to the bike lane. The quarter-mile of BikeRail creates a strong, highly-visible barrier between riders and vehicles.
