Dero Integrates New ADA Standards

The Americans with Disabilities Act is a federal policy that requires property owners and manufacturers of all types to make their products and environments more accessible to people of varying abilities.

At Dero we strive to constantly improve our approach to design and the products we make to serve the cycling community. With inclusivity top of mind, our engineers and Advocacy Specialist, Lou Fineberg, collaborated to design additions to our line-up that accommodate ADA requirements in an easy and effective way. These accessories makes our products better not only for cyclists, but for anyone who encounters them as they navigate through our physical spaces. “We have to consider that not only our products, but the areas where they are placed, are connected to all sorts of people,” Fineberg said.
